Konijnenpijp, Lutlommel

Lutlommel VV is a relative newcomer on the national stage. Founded in 1938, the team from the Lommel hamlet played until 2010 in the Provincial Divisions.

In that season (09-10) the club won the First Provincial Division Limburg and gained promotion to the Fourth Division.
From then on the club gained the not so prestigious title of “elevator team”. In their first season (10-11) in 4th National they ended dead last and are relegated. The following season (11-12), they are, however, champions again and the yellow-blacks celebrate their second promotion in three seasons. In the 2012-2013 season Lutlommel manages to avoid the drop but in 2014 the relegation is again a fact. During the subsequent seasons Lutlommel VV slowly but surely slumped down the rankings of the first Provincial Division.

The terrains of Lutlommel VV are on the Konijnenpijp (Rabbit hole). The club moved here in the middle of the seventies and steadily built up an infrastructure which now contains 10 football pitches.
